Came to see if the cafe was open. It was! Newly redecorated, it still has the homey atmosphere. I had the Shepard Pie. It was great. Had some cucumbers & onions with it, and that added just the kick needed. The spouse had the ribs & really liked them. A couple of sides came with it. I think she had cabbage & corn. Service was fine. We'll be back. Thanks!
Spent 2 weeks deer hunting in the area and couldn't find a decent restaurant. Rode by this place a few times and finally stopped. Glad we did as it was the best place we found. Burgers were huge and awesome!
Homemade food, even the mashed potatoes are peeled and mashed... Cakes, pies, everything home made. No fast food, just good COOKED food!
My wife and I tried the daily specials for our first time here. We will both recommend this place for good food and friendly service.
