Mama Carol's Kitchen

This place has the best food. The best waitress, she had ALL the qualities. She was sweeping the floor and we asked her to go grab us something and she went and washed her hands!! That's a big thing!!! We never waited on anything, she immediately came when my tea needed filled. The atmosphere was amazing!! The food... oh my!!! The food is insanely good. And the price... Me and my friend ate and then we got three to go orders and all we paid was $67 for everybody!! And they had fried Oreos with ice cream. I can't even describe how good that was!!! Hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to.

Could use a really good cleaning and remodel. I've heard this a bright spot for the community so i traveled in. I was not impressed. The food was mid at best. The bathrooms were smelly and dark. And the service was okay. Just... Okay. Nothing special. It was crowded, very crowded. And my chicken fried steak was cooked too rare for my liking. The corn was not seasoned. And the soda was flat. Will try again in the future. Thank you.

An outstanding local restaurant. We went there for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday about mid morning. The place was packed with people and we were about third in line on a wait list. However, in less than 5 minutes we were seated by friendly host staff. Service was prompt and attentive, coffee was hot and fresh, and the selection of food was awesome. The scrambler was my selection - a mix of eggs, sausage, biscuits, hash browns and gravy! Delicious! The prices were fantastic, very reasonable and not over-priced.

We were up for the weekend for a band gig at Legends. We love to take part in the local eateries, as opposed to the commercial restaurants. One thing we love is breakfast. We heard Mama Carol's Kitchen might be busy, but we went for it anyway. We parked in the back and came in what we assumed was the back door, as the cash register was straight across on the other side by the front door. You can see the whole dining area when you come in. There is also a counter to sit and eat your meal. I walked over to the front register/door and made eye contact with the young lady employee, and was greeted with a smile. I smiled and greeted her the same while noting we had 2 in our party. It was explained to me she wasn't sure of the wait time. We'd have to wait for someone to get up and grab their ta
