I’ve been waiting for them to open for a year and Malooga does not disappoint! I’ve been twice to the bakery/take out. The manakish is beyond delish, esp with zataar. I ordered a Yemeni mint tea and regretted not trying the iced chai- our server poured me a “sample” of chai which was actually a full sized cup! They are so lovely and want to make your experience top notch. I can’t wait to go back for a meal!
Wow! What a wonderful addition to Narberth! My friends and I enjoyed an amazing meal at Malooga this evening - and the entire experience was wonderful. The interior is inviting, the servers are warm and welcoming, and the food is amazing! I particularly loved watching - and eating - the bread! It is cooked in an open oven and reaches the table warm, ready to be dipped in hummus and baba ghanouj. W also loved the manakish cheese and za'atar, the lamb haneeth, and the chicken mandi. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!!
This is a halal restaurant and the restaurant has a prayer place if events are not being held that just recently opened up a new branch in Ardmore. The food and the service were outstanding; they are extremely accommodating. It's the month of Ramadan, and we walked in quite late, just a few minutes before we could break our fast, and they still made sure we had seating and provided us with dates and water immediately. The waitress named Koma was incredibly kind and very patient when it came to us choosing our food. She was honestly the sweetest. She came by to check on us as much as she could, making sure that our cups were never empty and always filled with water. We ordered the chicken mandi (chicken and rice), Kebabs Platter, Kibdah (Lamb Liver), Manakish Minced Beef (Laham), and Manaki
We went on their 2nd week of opening new location and it was amazing as always. Service was above and beyond, friendly environment. Food was also incredible and deserving of 5 star rating. Lamb Fahsah was my order and is a definite must!!
We tried Malooga today during the soft opening. The service was friendly, attentive, and positive! We tried two honeycomb buns and they were absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try their full menu. Excited to have them in the neighborhood!
