We went here to catch up with our old friends, I definitely recommend making a reservation before you go especially for dinner, we came around 4-5p.m and was able to get table outside, but wanted inside since music was loud out and we had a new born. Food tasted delicious, fresh and looked colorful. We absorbers sushi and some appetizers.Octopus was a little too dry to my likings. But Skirt Steak and Sea bass was our favorite! Size of portions are on smaller size. Service was great! Lots of pretty people inside. We paid $600 (tip included) 4 adults
Very chic place. Hostesses were unfriendly and rushed, but waitress was great. Food was tasty. Well seasoned, flavorful, but small portions. I really enjoyed the seasonal Japanese barracuda sushi, and the octopus skewers. Great spot for a date, or sceney spot but I definitely think it’s possible to get equally good Japanese food elsewhere with less hype and expense.
Very chic and upscale place located at Bal Harbor. It is a very busy place and very loud so it is very hard to have any kind of conversation, except to yell across the table, especially if you have a larger part, so thats a real downside. However, the food and service is great, we had one dish that we were not crazy with and the server took it back and off the bill. Otherwise, a great evening with good food. Definately worth a visit to try out.
The best sushi experience I've had in a really long time. Our servers Anna and David were excellent and solidified an already outstanding meal. We had the pleasure of sitting outside too which was a great vibe. Highly recommend the tuna crispy rice and rainbow roll. The dessert really topped it off and was just as good as the sushi!
We had a 6:30 reservation but wanted to eat earlier and they were able to seat us. The restauant is very pretty, good vibes suitable for all group sizes. The cauliflower dish was the star of the show, so delicious. The wagyu meat was very good, and the sauces were nice. The tres leches was something else - each component by itself felt off (dry cake, soy icecream) but together formed the perfect bite. Miso soup and udon were standard, not bad but nothing exceptional. Matcha fizz drinks (one alcoholic one NA) were standard.
