RI Food Fights’ Lord of the Wings was the reason we finally made it to makmak Eatery in Cranston—and I’m so glad it did. From the moment we walked in, the space felt super warm and cozy, the kind of neighborhood spot you instantly relax into. We ordered the Thai Chili Wings, Tomato Bisque, and a side of Coleslaw, and honestly—everything was fantastic. The wings were a clear standout: perfectly cooked with bold, balanced flavor that easily earns them a spot among the best wings in Rhode Island. The tomato bisque which came with a garlic crostini was comforting and rich, and the coleslaw was fresh and well-seasoned, not just an afterthought. The service deserves a shoutout too. This is my 2nd time visiting. We had such a great brunch at MakMak! Our server was incredibly attentive, and the owner was friendly and clearly cared about our experience, even stopping by to check in. The choices on the menu were great, and everything was fresh and so delicious. The food was beautifully presented, and the Bloody Mary was especially tasty. You can really tell they put care into both the food and the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited for the first time on Sunday for brunch and let me just say, this is my new favorite breakfast spot. Super friendly staff and super clean environment. I’m excited to come back for dinner. The avocado toast is the best in the world and the waffles were delicious. My husband enjoyed the steak and cheese omelette. Must try!

My husband & I went for the first time last night and I can’t say enough about this place. From our server (Liz) who also was the one who made our margaritas that were phenomenal!! And the food,chicken Marsala & chicken picatta to the apple crisp desert & a great cup of coffee. If you have not tried it here you are missing out on a great restaurant. We will definitely be regular customers 😊

Stopped in for a drink and appetizers. Phenomenal food and service, relaxed but engaging vibe. I spoke with the owner about booking a table for a small group -she was friendly, professional, and really accommodating. Server Gabi was great. Looking forward to my group dinner, and trying their Sunday brunch.
