MaKin Vegan Sushi

I’ve never had a bad roll! The only downside is that service can be slow at times. The staff is always friendly, the food is always good. They are great with gluten-free. They use a separate fryer, which is what I need. I am a huge sushi lover, but my brother is vegan. This combines the best of both worlds! I cannot tell that it is vegan sushi. 🍣 Great dive place!

I’m not a super sushi fan because I normally find it a little too dangerous to eat real sushi unless it’s vegan and/or cooked. Not having animals in my food is wonderful and to have a whole vegan sushi menu is really amazing. They also have a soy paper option in case someone isn’t crazy about the fishy taste of seaweed! These things don’t exist where I live. I have come to realize I live in the wrong state. 🤣 I get to visit, at least. The chicken plates we got were pretty good; service was friendly.

Incredible vegan sushi and Japanese izakaya! We are blown away at the quality and presentation of the food. We’ve had vegan sushi at a thousand places before, and this is by far one of the best we’ve ever had Thank you, MaKin! We are so excited to be your new local regulars :)

4.5, really cute spot in person and the food was great! for the most part, wouldnt have noticed the difference from regular sushi (i am NOT vegan). we got the chicken karaage, sexy lady roll, alaska roll, and six seven roll (recommended by our server). everything was so good and the sauces were great. would love to try their other options too. a bit pricy but makes sense.

Fantastic vegan sushi! This place has a menu that will annoy you, as you won’t be able to justify ordering every dish! The “pork” buns and vegan salmon sushi were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was kind as well. The menu has clearly marked allergen warning as well, something helpful for nut/gluten intolerant diners. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone in the area!
