Maiwand Kabob

This place has the best food! We mostly get the Chicken or Lamb kabobs, Fried Bolani and the Samoas. Everything is always very fresh and flavorful. The spot is clean and the people who run the place are super nice. If you are ever in the area or on the fence about trying this restaurant, please do because you will never be disappointed!

My only other experience with afghani food was prepared by local international students from Afghanistan. It was to die for. I will be honest, I was hesitant to try this place because my expectations were really high given my past experience with the cuisine. It did NOT disappoint. Don’t skip a beat coming to this place. The food is exceptional, from the rice, to the naan, to the meat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. As a bonus, our two year old devoured the food as well. We ordered the Wednesday special which was chicken jalfarazi and the chicken and lamb kabob.

Highly recommend, Maiwand Kabob has been a family favourite since decades. Maiwand is our go to place. We always order chicken tikka and seekh & chicken kabob combo. Kids love samosa's and kofta wrap with fries. We can't wait to visit again.

This place was soooooo delicious! Everything was so well seasoned and flavorful and the staff was so friendly. I wish I would have gotten the name of the man at the register to out here on this review because he was so friendly and kind. I will be coming back to this place again.

Only giving 4 stars since there was no Mango Lassi, they were all out of shakes and the fountain machine was broken. Adequate seating and semi-clean bathrooms. Food was delicious as always though!
