I had a stomach ache 20 minutes after eating here. The pho tasted bland, and the noodles tasted okay. The amount of popcorn chicken portion was so little yet so expensive. Less than 10 pieces for around 9 dollars. If you have to go here the decent one is their banh mi, everything else you need to test your luck to see if it’s good. The service I was not fond of. They start to clean up before you are even ready to leave which I didn’t like. Food mid, service meh. 🫤
Had the shrimp rolls and beef noodle soup. Everything tasted good and the service was nice. We were almost near closing time and they were still accommodating. It’s a nice neighborhood spot for Vietnamese food
Just tried Mai’s for the first time and loved it. Definitely a new neighborhood go-to. The spring rolls are divine, perfectly meaty and juicy. My boyfriend and I got an order of 8 and they were gone in minutes. The large beef pho was also delicious. The broth had great flavor and the portion was generous enough that I could get two meals out of it which for $12.50 is pretty much unbeatable. The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice ambiance and attentive staff. Highly recommend!
Relatively new restaurant that has comfortable seating and was pretty quiet on a weekday. The pho was solid and on par with other spots, but the grilled pork rice dish was missing some of the authentic flavors I was hoping for. The beef summer roll, though, was tasty and went really well with the dipping sauce. Overall, a nice addition to the neighborhood.
First time coming here and the service is amazing. The staff here are so nice and they also have an ongoing promotion where you get spring rolls if you spend more than $30, they were very nice to switch the appetizer to the Shrimp Summer Rolls! We ordered the regular beef noodle soup and it tasted amazing! It didn’t taste like it had too much MSG in it which is perfect. For appetizers we got popcorn chicken and beef satay, and we got the shrimp summer rolls for free as part of the promotion. The popcorn chicken tasted very crispy and the beef in the beef satay was very soft and tender. The summer rolls tasted very fresh and the sauces paired with each appetizer tasted amazing and authentic. I definitely recommend coming here for comfort food and a warm bowl of pho.
