Main Street Cafe

First time here. The food here was great. It's my new favorite place in Monahans. The owner was very nice. Will definitely be back.

Rarely do I rate 5 Stars. I have not been home in 3 months. This is the first time I have had a taste of a home cooked meal. The meatloaf tasted like grandma's. The beans were perfectly cooked. My buddy had the catfish. I had to try and will have to get that next time. Did not have that watery taste or farm raised taste. It had a gread flavor. The waitress was by herself and when the cook had time, he was helping the tables with drinks. The place was packed and nobody had to ask for more drinks. Hands down to a great resturaunt! I will return

Cafeteria style with great taste. Excellent for lunch. This is not fast food though. Many main meat items are cooked when you order. The sides are excellent as well.

Good food. Small local restaurant in an oilfield town. Usually, out here, you don't have a lot of options, and you settle for mediocre food. The special the night I went was chicken fried chicken, and it was just like a home cooked meal. Delicious. Honestly, it made my evening getting a meal like that out here. Their menu is small, but that means they're good at each plate. The staff was very pleasant. Cooke even came out and asked how the meal was. The waitress was very nice and tentative, but not intrusive. Give them a try, and you won't be disappointed.

Well im been in texas for 3 months now. It's hard to fing good food. This place is pretty close to good food I'm use to in Mississippi gulf coast. I got the seafood combo plate twice now and it's beautiful aswell as delicious. Best food i had since I been here.
