main stop market

We were there for the tacos. So good! Main Street Tacos is a hidden gem inside the market. So happy we found it. Great service, great food, generous portions.

Yelp and google have listed as a dine in, take out and delivery. This is definitely not a dine in place. We were in Richmond for an event and I googled restaurants near me. The gps took us to a party store so I then thought there must be a restaurant inside. The taco place inside is not sit down but is carry out. Due to the 5 star rating thought we would give it a try and just eat in car before we had to be somewhere. In the Yelp pictures for this business they show corn on the cob so I assumed the street corn was made with fresh corn . It was canned corn and was just ok in flavor. Overall everything we tried the presentation looked good but the meals lacked flavor. The street tacos went from the store to our mouths and were very wet and soggy on the bottom and again just not much flavor.

My Fiancé and I walked to Main Street Taco today and the food was amazing! We got a chicken taco on a flour tortilla, steak taco on a flour tortilla, another steak taco but on a corn tortilla and a pork taco on a corn tortilla. We haven't had tacos this good in so long and it hit the spot. The Pico De Gallo was perfect and the homemade habanero hot sauce was so spicy and flavorful. We got so much food for a great price. Plus, we love everyone who works here and throughout the store, they are all so kind and friendly! We can't wait to come get some more tacos soon and try some other items, like the deep fried Oreos!

Ordered on a whim and the food was amazing! Large order which was 100% accurate, tacos/quesadillas/nachos/churros, etc, everything was DELICIOUS!! Definitely a hidden gem. Only gripe is the guac bites, they were good but definitely too expensive for what you get. Everything else was very reasonably priced so not worried about it lol.

Best Mexican food I've ever had. Amazing street tacos. Everything packed full with meat and great price. If you like Mexican food you have to try this. Homemade habenero salsa is very hot if you like spicy
