I have been using Main and Market Catering for over 15 years for both personal celebrations and corporate parties, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations every single time. Whether it’s an intimate gathering, a large corporate event, or a milestone celebration, their food is always outstanding, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Most recently, Main and Market catered a wedding I planned, and once again they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Guests could not stop raving about the food, people were talking about it all night. The mushroom soup was very good. The rockfish was not fresh. We had to send it back. My wife's chicken pot pie was disappointing. The quality of the chicken was poor and very scant. A bland puff pastry sitting on top of a cup of thick sauce with bits of dark meat and vegetables does not resemble a chicken pot pie worth $24. It was not sitting "in a golden flaky pie crust," as described. It did come with steamed broccoli on the side and a side salad.

Been a customer here for over 25 years. It's always been a little pricey, but the food is consistent, and the baking exceptional. Like everywhere there prices and value have gotten worse, which I understand. However, they have seen to lost the plot and are unconcerned about the value of they are offering up their customers. Behold the $10.50 Onion Soup I picked up for my ill mother. It's small, unremarkable (although, tasty as usual), and includes a 3% fee for the privilege of using a credit card. They have lost the plot if they believe this is a fair deal. Prices being what they are everywhere, I will only support establishments who attempt to be fair to their customers in these difficult times.

After my son‘s dental appointment, which is right upstairs, we decided to have lunch. I haven’t been to Maine and market in quite a while and I’m so glad we decided to go. The food was amazing, I love their menu. Everything sounds so good. I decided to have the pesto salmon bowl, which was absolutely delicious and plentiful, I had to take some home. My son had the salmon and he thought it was quite delicious. And the service is always on spot. The cocktail menu is yummy as I had the berry basil cocktail, it was so good. I had to have two!
