Main Garden Chinese Restaurant

If you haven't been able to find good Chinese food since covid. I suggest trying Main Garden in Agawam. I am so happy i did. I finally satisfied my craving after all this time. It was a 30 min drive for me but I will continue to make the trip for this delicious food. Thank you

We placed a very large order and yes, portions on all day special plates were very generous. However, the fried rice was ridiculously mushy and bland. Pork lo mein was ordered and vegetable lo mein received, with big fat overcooked noodles and super large vegetable pieces The General Tso chicken had an off flavor, as well the teriyaki beef stick that was part of the plate. Tasted like old meat. The shrimp and broccoli had HUGE uncut pieces of broccoli and very little sauce. After reading several reviews of places in Greater Springfield area decided to try here, but will not ever again. Very disappointed.

I would NOT recommend. Chicken fried rice was 20% white rice no seasoning and chicken was dry. Teriyaki beef had red dye on it and very tough meat. Crab Rangoon had no crab filling just dough. Beef lo main meat was like shoe leather and didn’t taste good. Overall bad experience

Ordered take out for lunch and it was ready quickly! The lunch prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. We ordered chicken chow mein and lemon chicken. The wonton soup was absolutely delicious!!! The rest of the food was good, we were surprised that the lemon chicken was battered and fried fresh there. Would return.

So we where up to see our daughter who recently moved to the area. Yes it was Thanksgiving but she had jo time for Turkey…thankfully the resturant was open and we ordered some combo meals. Absolutely delicious food amd a great price. Will be our go to spot whenever we come back up.
