CHILDREN & FAMILIES AVOID THIS LIBRARY!! I want to start by saying the staff here is super kind and helpful. The closed off area for kids is really nice and has a lot of toys and puzzles that we noticed rotated from our first to a second and last visit. We have only come to this branch two times because the Julington Creek branch is closed for renovations. After walking into the weed smelling bathroom and seeing a homeless person have some type of attack on the ground right outside the library floors as we were leaving…… we will not be back. You read that right when you saw weed bathroom. You walked in there, and I swear I felt high slightly leaving from the smell. We visited for the "book sale" and what great prices. It's donation based prices. All kids' books .10 cents, adults .50 cents unless marked. It's not a huge selection, but for ten cents, you're bound to find something. There is a park next to the library as well.

We attend story time and it is such great fun. The teachers are high energy and you can tell they love what they do. My daughter looks forward to going every chance we get. The kids area is also great fun. Between coloring, the STEM toys and the amazing variety of books for all ages we spend at least an hour after story time playing

Nice library,open 7 days a week.Daily newspapers and good selection of books.Ample parking.All in all,I love my library.

This library has some serious organization problems. The seating area for computers is very small, so there is an overflow area of seats and outlets against the wall. However, they've put the DVDs and media right in front of these seats, so that there is a constant stream of people walking directly in front of you. Combined with the construction that is making it hard to get into and out of the library, it's becoming a location to avoid.
