Maid-Rite

I happen to like these sandwiches. Anytime I drive through Iowa I try and stop at a Maid-Rite. This location had a particularly unique, clean, and fun atmosphere. I ate in. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and they checked on me to be sure I was satisfied. Bathroom was clean. Was a great experience.

Our food took a while to get there. I believe our kids all enjoyed their food. And my husband too! However, they need to try accomidating more for gluten free people. Because that's our world right now. I got a bun free sandwhich with all the normal things like lettuce tomatoes onions, pickles. It came with none of that. It was a little bowl with 5 small peices of turkey. Very disappointing. My husband even went and asked for the rest, which they never brought.

We ordered the megarite plain, to taste what this was all about. Sloppy Joe without the sauce, but pretty good. Next time we will get the cheese rite probably. Staff was great and service was fast. Dining room was extremely clean and covid ready. We will try again.

I could practically eat this everyday. Love the concept, the service, and how great the food is!

Such great food We each got (Mega) Maidrite and Fries and shakes So glad to get back to this place and enjoy Highly recommend !
