Mai Lee Thai Restaurant

Normally we love this place but NOT TODAY. Ordered the lunch special and came in a plastic to go bowl. PLASTIC! What happened to the pretty white bowls? ZERO for presentation. ZERO for having to eat out of a plastic container. ZERO for environmentally conscious. Have the owners changed?

Red curry at Mai Lee Thai, east Wenatchee. TAKEOUT Customer service was great, however portion wasn’t for $20. I called and I asked if they usually not fill the containers all the way & they said they’re using 32 oz containers but they fill the 24 oz containers… THEY GAVE ME A 24 oz container. Ridiculous. Called back and they back tracked and said they don’t fill it all the way since the container needs to breathe or it will pop off.

My husband and I are big foodies and love supporting local favorites, and the other night we decided to go back to Mai Lee Thai — and wow, it did not disappoint! We always get the crab rangoons (seriously, never skip them!), and they’re just as amazing every time. I’m still dreaming about the pineapple red curry at level 5 spice, and my husband loved his pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai. Our server, Josiah (I believe), always provides great service, even when the place is busy, and this visit was no exception. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly done. Great job, Mai Lee Thai — we’ll definitely be back!

Food was super tasty. We ordered the spring rolls, chicken pad thai, and then yellow curry with steamed rice. I got a Thai Tea. My only bone to pick was that they were out of bubble tea pearls. The waiter was great.

Absolutely one of the best Thai spots we’ve discovered in the area! My husband and I were blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. We ordered the chicken pho and two of their #64s. It was all fresh and very very tasty! The green tea was another standout, strong, fresh, and just the way we love it. We even had to order some pho to go. We’ll definitely be coming back!
