Mai Chinese Food Trailer (Food Truck)

Super nice folks operating this food truck. The menu is fairly large for such a small kitchen, there is a lot of fried options. We shared spring rolls, crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, pad Thai, and general tso’s chicken with fried rice. The appetizers were all very good. General tso’s had jalopenos not dried red chili’s that are central to the flavor profile of this dish, but overall the taste was good. Rather small popcorn size chicken, and the fried rice was not traditional either- light on veggies and egg really. Pad Thai was okay, light on veggies and the sauce tasted bottled to me- sweet and sour for the most part. I would go here over top china and would return to try other dishes too- everything was fresh, hot and was tasty for the most part.

I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food and the food here is delicious! The shrimp is always cooked perfectly, never rubbery. The crab rangoon are phenomenal! I've never ordered something I didn't like. They are friendly and everything is prepared to order. I highly recommend this food truck!

First time trying this food truck. I waited almost 20 mins for my order. Several others clearly had call in orders and didn't wait long so I'll be doing that next time. That being said I ordered the pork skewer with fried rice, crab rangoons & a Thai bubble tea. The pork was well seasoned, flavorful and tender. The rangoons were nice and crispy. The boba was way way too sweet for me. I asked if the sugar level could be adjusted and she said no, however she could have misunderstood what I was asking. All in all a good experience & I'll be going back to try other items for sure. UPDATE : I've been back several times and everything is on point. Pad Thai and cashew chicken are well worth trying

Stopped by to get some lunch after hiking Tanyard Creek Nature Trail. It is conveniently located. Friendly service. Ordered the General Tso’s Chicken with a spice level of 4 and with fried rice. Very generous portions. For a quick meal, it was well worth the money.

I had heard great things about this food truck and finally got the chance to try it. I was not disappointed. They serve restaurant quality food in large portions. Everything is fresh and delicious. I had the vegetable spring rolls which were crispy and as good as any I’ve had from a restaurant. I also had the chicken fried rice and it was a large portion with no shortage of meat, veggies, and bits of scrambled egg. If you are in the area and like Chinese, I highly recommend Mai Chinese.
