Mai in Seaport completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the space set the tone: an intimate dining room with a sleek bar, low lighting, and chill club style music that made the whole experience feel elevated yet relaxed. It strikes that rare balance between a high end atmosphere and a place you actually want to linger in. The service was exceptional across the board. Every server was attentive without being overbearing, and they took the time to walk us through each dish with thoughtful, detailed explanations. It felt less like a typical dinner service and more like a curated tasting experience. The food was the real highlight. The wagyu flight was unforgettable... Three pieces of wagyu nigiri, each topped differently, including one with uni and another with cavi

Wow, talk about an amazing culinary experience. I started off with the matchatini which was delicious and very unique (I would recommend this as a dessert drink rather than one to have with dinner). If there are two things I’d say you have to have, it’s the torched toro risotto appetizer and the spicy tuna hand roll. Absolutely spectacular. Atmosphere is very intimate, I’d recommend it for a date night or an intimate party, I wouldn’t come here with a big group as it is a little tight. But overall, an amazing restaurant with a great menu and wonderful staff!

I visted Mai on Monday for dinner and extraordinary is an understatement. Everything I tried tasted fresh and uniquely curated. My favorite handroll I highly recommend is the toro handroll. It was creamy and melt-in-your-mouth and the takuan added a perfect contrast in texture. The wagyu tenderloin frites were also a highlight, the wagyu with a delicious buttery flavor and fries cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the virgin matchatini as a mocktail. It was not too sweet and the creamy cheese foam compliments the matcha. The atmosphere was vibrant and the ambient lighting added a great touch. The service was amazing with the help of our servers Phanna, John, and Dylan. They were attentive and walked us through all the dishes presented to us.

I came into Mai tonight with some friends to try a good amount of the menu and cocktails. Everything was incredible! John, Dylan, and Phanna provided excellent, attentive service, made sure we had everything we needed. The apps were amazing— 10/10 for the sashimi and chicken nuggets w/caviar. For the hand rolls, I tried the eel foi gras, snow crab ikura, lobster california, and the wagyu sirloin & tenderloin hand rolls. The foi gras & wagyu hand rolls were delicious! They just melt in your mouth. The steak frites were cooked to perfection and the chimichurri sauce on top was a great addition. The duck was also very soft and tender! For cocktails, the strawberry matchatini and the salted plum float; both very creamy with distinct flavor. My experience was great and I’ll definitely be back!

Having hearing many good things about Mai’s, A few friends and I decided to stop in and have Dinner, everything about Mai’s was excellent starting with Service John and Phanna were amazing, explaining every dish that was ordered, answered any questions we had, giving us a great experience. Food: Hands down one of the best handrolls we had, the Toro was nice and fatty, the Wagyu was super soft and tender you barely have to chew. The Steak frites were thin cut which gave the fries a nice crisp paired with the truffle ketchup you can’t get that flavor anywhere! Everything was thought out well, each ingredient was fresh and complemented eachother! Would definitely come back!
