Magaly's Mexican Restaurant

Magaly’s Mexican Restaurant in Benson is an outstanding choice for Mexican fare. It’s very colorful and nicely decorated inside. The food and drinks here are excellent. I started off with a Margarita and then dove head first into the delicious Two Sonoran Style Flat Enchiladas. M’wah! My buddy had the Mole Enchiladas, saying that the sauce was perfecto. Service was really very good, but our server was a little too hurried to clear the table at closing time. My friend had gotten up to use the restroom and I had gone to the counter to pay. I came back to discover that my half full Margarita had been discarded. A little more discretion, please. Take the time to look around and see what’s going on. I was in plain sight. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

The same cook has been working in there 23 years… While it’s a little pricey, the quality of the food is excellent and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Here’s how you’re gonna know if you like it… Get up, get in the car and go down there and get something to eat-don’t take my word for it. You don’t even know me.

If you’re going to kartchener caverns or visiting Tombstone this is THE restaurant to go to. I absolutely LOVED this place the food was phenomenal. The salsa was some of the best I have ever had and the mini chimichangas I will be thinking about for weeks! The service is amazing and the restaurant is cozy but big enough for parties!

I drive down from Tucson to eat here. I love this place! The food always comes out piping hot!! And it is consistent! Hot and delicious! 😋 Great chips & salsa - slight kick to the salsa- its cravable! The tomatillo based one it good as well but you have to ask for it. Not too much cilantro in anything for haters like me! The staff are usually great! Sometimes its busy- but that's ok! Worth any wait! No that I've had to wait but . .. I went here one years ago (15+/-) with some friends and started coming again when i was in town for the music fest and now I go pretty often! Totally recommend. See you soon!!

Good food, Good service, Cold beer! We ate taco salad, Taco plate, And cheese crisp… All were very good, Liked the green chili on the cheese crisp. Salsa was really good, Were offered some hot tomatillo salsa that was excellent, little smoky and good flavor! The Young waitress was super helpful And Friendly…. Unfortunately, I forgot to get her name
