Maelos Wood Fired Pizza - Kendall

Maelo’s Pizza, a food truck in Kendall, was such a great find. The service was warm and welcoming, and I tried the pepperoni hot honey pizza absolutely exquisite. The balance between savory and sweet is spot on, elevated by creamy stracciatella and a drizzle of honey that ties everything together beautifully. Simple, bold flavors done right. Definitely coming back for more.

I was really looking forward to trying Maelo’s Wood Fire Pizza, but unfortunately my experience was a letdown from start to finish. I ordered two pizzas—the Margherita and the Hot Pepperoni—and neither came close to what was advertised. The photos on the website show fresh, handcrafted wood-fired pies, but what I received looked more like frozen boxed pizzas. The quality just wasn’t there. The crust was flat and lifeless, the toppings were sparse, and there was none of the flavor or texture you’d expect from a wood-fired product. Very nice and clean outdoor space, service with a smile and the pizza is delicious. We ordered the caprichosa and margherita. Poured on the spicy oil… it really is the BEST! We dined in and took a pizza home.

The pizza was absolutely amazing the quality and taste was the best , and the service was family friendly!!! What a beautiful place and so organized!! Recommend 100/10 !!! So delicious
