Madras Masala Express

Wonderful discovery in MI. Delicious food although they could work on a better portion for Biriyani. Kothu parotta was also good. A big thanks to Priscilla who took our order and was great in understanding the needs of our group. They even gave complimentary sweet pongal for our group - delicious 😍 Highly recommended for their service and taste.

We are frequent visitors of the Packard location, even before, when it was at Menyard st, downtown. We love you guys! However: when ordering takeout: When we order the mild it lacks the flavor punch. But when we order medium it’s on the border of what we can handle heat-spice wise. When ordering takeout there is no other option. And putting it in the comments is hit-or-miss. Would be good if medium actually worked for flavor and a nice bit of heat, that is not on the uncomfortable edge.

We usually order delivery from another Indian place, but decided to do pick up and Madras Masala Express Broadway came up with great ratings. It definitely earned them! 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, & 3 bread orders were ready in 15 mins and were still hot by the time they got home. I can genuinely recommend everything we got. - samosas (2 pieces/order) - samosa chaat (sleeper pick - highly recommend) - paneer tikka masala - chicken tikka masala - lamb saag - garlic naan - aloo pharata There’s also a 10% discount for paying cash and they even gave us two small cake pieces with our order. This place is super great, will order again.

We had such a great dinner here! This just became my favorite Indian joint in Ann Arbor. The curries were amazingly spiced and so delicious and the naan was very fluffy and warm! The owners even gave us a complimentary piece of coffee cake each, which was so kind. It’s a smaller place inside to eat but plenty of space. I’d recommend this location to anyone. Thanks Madras!

Me and my wife had a delicious lunch from this place today, the chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely amazing. The garlic naan goes perfectly with it. The little sponge cakes that were included were a tasty surprise too!
