Madison County Health Department

There was confusion about an appointment the Jackson office made. The sweet lady (Drisell -forgive me for most likely misspelling it) was so so helpful and kind. Every employee that came to rough the waiting room greeted me as well. It was just an unexpected, very pleasant experience due to their fantastic attitudes!

Came at 9 and literally watched everyone who came after us get seen before us. We have been here for almost 3 hours and still haven’t been seen. This is the worse place I could’ve came to. This place really deserves no stars. I asked how long would it take and one of the women told me appointments get seen before us. I know for a fact not everyone has a appointment. I’ll just have to suffer with the problems I have. I’ll never come back here. Not to mention now I’m 3 hours late for work.

The manager at thus facility is stating that my son has to take shots that had already because of a form. Why would a form permit him to have to get double vaccinations if his shots or up to date and his forms are up to date. I need to be contacted and explained about this special form. I am contacting the head of this department to notify that they are trying to double vaccine my child.

Literally stood at the front desk for at least 5 minutes simply to pick up a 121 form I had requested a couple weeks ago. Some girl in the back saw me and didn’t even offer any explanation as to why there was no one at the desk. Just looked then walked away. If only there were a way to use a different health department outside of your county. Madison county health department has really gone downhill.

Went to get a Covid shot and it was very quick. Didn't wait at all. Well for the 15 minutes you have to wait after the shot. Everyone was very friendly. A lot better then what it use to be.
