MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub

My husband and I decided to come in and try it for the first time, we were very pleased with the service, the appetizers were incredible. However I was very displeased with the pizza given the fact they are know for their pizza the best. The cheese was cold and the pizza crust was completely soggy I couldn't even pick it up, especially given the price of their pizza I was hoping for better.

Went in on a Friday night with a friend and they were packed! Dispute being so busy, we only waited about 20 minutes. Our server was Gus. He was kind, attentive and funny. He made sure our drinks were never more than half empty and cleared all plates after we finished. I had the southwest rolls and my friend got wings. All food was so good!! The manager on duty (Craig) also stopped by our table and asked how everything was. He was helping the server staff run food and clear tables. (You don’t always see that in management) All in all a great experience and will definitely go back.

I really enjoy Mackenzie River and have eaten at them in Montana before, however this one was quite disappointing. My daughter got a fruit cup with her kids meal and the fruit was in a liquid, it looked gross, and she tried it and didn’t like it. Her mini cheeseburgers were pretty pink inside and had pickles inside on the burgers which we both found odd on a kids meal (it also wasn’t listed that way on the menu). I ordered a “Californian” and my burger was pretty pink on the inside as well. My guacamole was brown and gross so I scraped it off. The steamed veggies I subbed in were good but cold and I ordered if without a bun so I was curing it and they put that brown paper under it so that kept getting inside my food. Liberty was our server and was awesome! Food was wonderful! The music wasn’t to loud just enough in the background. Service was quick for what we ordered. Cowboy nachos, a salad, and a burger. The vibes are on 😂 the drinks were super tasty (cocktails)

Staff was attentive and accommodating. Food was significantly higher quality than the average restaurant in this area. The Fettuccine was well seasoned and not overly doused in sauce. The Pizza crust was crisp and the spices along with the pepperoni left little to be desired. Excellent.
