Mack Park Swimming Pool

Pool needs some maintenance & the guards need to be more proactive with the minors who sometimes can be found standing on the tables at the concession stand! They have an adult swim but several times children have dipped in the pool and the guards do not address them. The prices at the food concession stand are fair and it’s your typical quick type food items. All in all it’s decent. They have lounge chairs which are on a first come first served basis.

We haven’t been to Mack Park Pool in over 20 years. The renovations they have done to the pool are absolutely wonderful. There is a gradual walk into pool area up to 1 1/2 feet which is perfect for toddlers. There is a mini waterslide and sprinkler system for them to enjoy. The older kids and adults have access to a circular slide which goes into 8 feet of water. No food is permitted into the pool area however there is a snack shop here and it is very reasonably priced.

My family and I moved out here at the end of June and decided to come here today on a hot Sunday. During "15 minute adult swim" not one adult was in the pool. There is a section for babies/toddlers and they weren't even allowed in there. It was a completely separate section from the main pool. At least let the toddlers and babies in that section, jeeze. A kid was in the corner of the deep end just hanging his feet in and a lifeguard asked another lifeguard to tell him to get out, but didn't because I said "That is funny." I believe it is a way to drive everyone to the concession stand, which brings me to their pizza. We ordered a whole pizza for our family, it says it is "Italian Village Pizza". This pool is fantastic!!! Very clean facility. The concession stand has fair prices. I had chicken nuggets and fries. Not the best nuggets but the fries were very good. Definitely a great place to. Ring your child, as there is plenty of room for lots of kids to play and swim. The chairs were very nice.

I went to the playground and it was okay, but the women's restroom was VILE. The locks on all three stalls didn't work, there were things floating in the toilet bowl, the gap between the stall door and the ceiling were so high that a tall person could easily see over it. Did not like the restroom at all. Beware.
