My experience here was extremely disappointing from start to finish. First, my order was wrong, and to make matters worse, the bill was incorrect as well. The food that did arrive was noticeably subpar in quality—far below what I expected. On top of that, the wait time was incredibly long, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Overall, the combination of mistakes, poor service, and mediocre food made the visit very frustrating. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

I ordered the shaking beef aka bo luc lac and while the flavor was good, it was likely chuck steak and over cooked. The waiter also didnt bring the customary pho broth as well that you find at other restaurants. Their rice was a few days old as well, it should’ve been set aside for fried rice. I took a gamble coming here, but on a weekday at 1pm i was the only customer. Their prices are about $2-3 higher than the average in SJ. I’m not trying to be mean, but maybe the owner reads this and makes the adjustments to not trying to save on day old rice and microwave defrosting their meats… and if it is chuck, marinate in soda and kiwi for a bit.

Hidden gem in San Jose! Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and the food was super delicious. Definitely will come back with my family!

We came in looking for pho—which they advertise on the front of their building, but it was the end of the day so we asked if it was still available, being considerate of their potential low stock. They said they had it. We asked about our order 10 minutes and they said it was ready. Another 10 passed by before they actually brought out our food. They charged us $6 for 3 waters which we didn’t even order. They just brought it out. On top of that, the broth of the pho was incredibly fatty and clearly the bottom of the pot, would have rather they just said they had no more.

They host very loud karaoke after 8pm. Not knowing this, we went to have dinner here but quickly found out it was too noisy. Decided to order for takeout instead. The staff was kind about it and offered us seats and drinks while waiting (we declined). The food took a long time to come out and in the end we only received 2 small pieces of fish for $18. This was supposed to be a family meal? Not sure how this amount could feed a family. Other people may enjoy this restaurant more but it’s not my cup of tea.
