Lyon County Public Library

Love this library. Did not anticipate stopping here but had business at the courthouse. Loved walking in and immediately seeing books I wanted to read. Staff is super-friendly; the Reading Room is especially cozy. And the library boasts an impressive arrowhead collection. Visit Mineral Mounds, the Rosehill Museum (for prison history), and the Ben Clement Mineral Museum is not too far from here. Great for a family field trip.

Try to go weekly. Being an avid reader, Jackie and LeAnn both go out of their way to find the genre I'm reading, and researching. What they don't have in hard cover they find in down loads. A fun filled place in the Heart of Eddyville Ky. Games and rewards for the children, and elders as well. A destination, not merely a place to go.

Great little small town library! They have a nice selection of books, magazines, and other media.
