I had the seasonal tasting menu, my wife had the lobster ravioli. The food was very good, the atmosphere was quite nice. The service was stellar, our waiter had adequate knowledge of the food preparation and history. Dessert course was the best course of the seasonal tasting menu, and that is not to diminish the other dishes. The flavors, textures, colors, plating, were all perfection when it came to the sorbet. Overall, exactly what I was looking for in a nice birthday dinner.

On Friday night, I sat at the bar and enjoyed the tasting menu. Every dish was absolutely phenomenal and the service was exceptional! Telemachus and Chue Yee were so wonderful, friendly, and attentive. The ambience is stunning, modern, very classy. I can't wait to go back!!

I'm going to say something that's truly surprising. This place, you know when everything just comes together? I ordered grilled octopus, then I ordered a dish that I won't describe, but I'll leave photos. 🙏🏻 And in the end, I did something unusual. I accepted the dessert that the restaurant suggested, and I have to say it was the best dessert of my life. So I'll say something more, my husband and I really enjoy good restaurants and good cuisine, we know what's truly good and we know how to appreciate what's good without judgment, but rather as a complement. Been wanting to come here for a while, but you need to be very proactive with reservations. We finally aligned a performance at the Rep with a dinner here. Food: Everything we ordered was outstanding, with one very small exception. We started with a couple of special cocktails. The Piccola Noce, which is similar to an Old Fashioned, was delicious and lasted me the entire meal. The Rilasatti was like a sangria, but the texture was a little too much like punch for my taste. For food, we began with the Coquilles St. Jacques (scallops) and the Pulpo a la Plancha (octopus). For entrees, we had the Pez Espada (swordfish) and the Panisse (vegan chickpea cake). First visit to this restaurant....first appetizer - beef tartare - and the first thing that stares at me from the plate is the pile of completely "dead" arugula. Come on - if you are pretending to be a nice restaurant (which you may be) and you are selling 3 oz of beef tartare for $25, at least have the decency of putting fresh arugula on top of it. It makes you wonder if the rest of the food coming from the kitchen is as "fresh". Epic (and easily avoidable- don't put any arugula at all) failure IMHO. The rest of the food was good though. Service was hit and miss - waited for a drink for 15 minutes. Special kudos to pastry chef for an inventive desert - Pots de Creme au Caramel.👏 You can do better. 😔
