Lunar's Pho

Ordered thru Ubereats App. Rice Dish that came with grilled shortribs, fried egg, and salad greens, cucumber & tomato. Also fish sauce for dipping meats. Also ordered fried chicken wings (6 pcs) appetizer. The food was very tasty, still warm & delicious. Current incentive on the App order $30 worth of food get $8 off. Try it out!

Broth had great flavor. Loved the wings. The only complaint I had was that the appetizer wings came out at the same time as the Pho.

Cousins and I weren’t familiar with the Tacoma area and thought of trying out a new pho spot. First time coming here and it was absolutely satisfying. From the unique texture of the noodles, to the first bite of the shrimp spring rolls and on to the last sip of the broth it was just pure bliss. So much flavor!!! You can just tell they pour a lot of love and time into their food. The atmosphere was calm and the service was great! Felt very welcomed. Definitely did not disappoint. Please give the spot a try. Friendly service and decent food with great broth but not the best value. The amount of meat given didn’t really compare to other Vietnamese restaurants. The soup I got only had about two rolls of meat and lots of noodle. We were also not aware of the upcharge for a meat substitute that was offered to us, it sounded like an alternative. The oxtail was kind of tough to eat as well, not fall off the bone. The pho broth and bun bo hue broth were both pretty good, though. The waitress who served us was very friendly, though, and the restaurant was nice and clean.

We went to Lunar's Pho on a cold winter's day hoping for some delicious Vietnamese food and we scored!! It was our first visit and we really only have high praise for all the dishes we tried. We ordered the Eggs Rolls ( Note: We asked for the peanut sauce to try with the Egg Rolls. Dish normally comes with a different sauce but that's how we roll some days), Meatballs Pho and the Shrimp Fried Rice. All the dishes were very flavorful and quite satisfying! To finish off our meal we ordered the Banana Cake- which was fire!!! So insanely good, I wished we'd ordered one more to take home. Great service and a very pleasant vibe inside. Overall, we loved our meals there and give them 5 enthusiastic stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
