Luna Nueva Cocina Mexicana

First time trying them but had seen some pictures on the Internet that looked amazing so I had to give them a try. I'm a big fan of birria tacos and that's what I was going to get but everyone in front of me were ordering the birria pizza so I ended up getting it. I was not disappointed! Excellent taste and heated up perfectly the next day for leftovers. Also got a basic beef burrito with rice and beans and I tell y'all what, that was some of the best rice I've had at a restaurant and the beans were great too although I prefer mine frijoles charos style. FYI the red salsa has some spice to it and was excellent.

I eat here at least once a week. My wife and I have been coming for close to two years. We love the birria tacos or the birria pizza. The new combos are great! That green sauce is amazing! The rice and beans are very tasty. They are always accommodating and friendly. This is one of those special restaurants in Hattiesburg you don't want to miss!

The food is good, but they basically rob you at the register. The food on the menu is one price and then when they ring it up at the register it’s way more. I told the girl at the counter about the price difference and she just gave some bs excuse about taxes etc. Never going back. $25 for a basic burrito and a side of rice and beans is crazy. Plus I refuse to continue giving my money to people who do bad business, and blatantly at that. I could get the same thing, but better, in Texas for probably half the price. Greed will ultimately get you nowhere.

We came to check it out. And let me tell you it was fabulous. It’s a hidden gem in Oak Grove my wife said . I had the birria tacos . They were delicious. My wife had the American tacos with rice and beans and they were delicious, and the beans were not your typical beans they put on a plate . They where delicious. We will be back !!!!!!!!!! I should’ve took a picture, but it was so good. I ate it all.
