Lum's BBQ

We stopped at Lum’s BBQ in Junction, TX during our drive on I-10, and wow — this place is a gem. The brisket was out of this world, perfectly smoked and incredibly tender. The turkey was super moist, which is hard to find, and every side tasted fresh and homemade. The restaurant itself is spotless and well-kept — truly impeccable. The ambiance felt a little cold and not the warmest in terms of friendliness, but the food more than makes up for it. If you’re traveling toward Austin or San Antonio from West Texas, this is THE place to stop for real Texas BBQ. Absolutely worth the detour and every single bite!

I stopped in Junction, TX for a football game and needed a good place to eat — and I definitely found it at Lum’s BBQ! As soon as I walked in, the smoky aroma told me I made the right choice. The counter setup made ordering super easy since I could see all their delicious options right in front of me. If you’re just looking for a solid meal, grab a sandwich. But if you’re up for a personal challenge, go for a plate! I ordered the 2-meat plate with sliced brisket and jalapeño & cheese sausage, plus potato salad and mac n’ cheese. Let’s just say I almost met my match, but pride wouldn’t let me leave a single bite behind. They’ve got a nice outdoor patio, plenty of indoor seating, and even some cool merch for sale. Great food, great atmosphere — I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town

Traveling from Laredo texas - el paso Texas - we Stopped by for lunch after reading other nearby Junctions BBQ locations - decided to come hear. Great decision to make for BBQ bite to eat - ya'lls review for not disappoint. Great food for your buck 😋 Very clean establishment Bathrooms clean Decent parking area Delicious food Check out clerk Gloria sweet lady too. Thank you so much for providing great tasting BBQ in the middle of nowhere. I was full after 2 slices of brisket couple bites of potato salad & cucumber salad We also ordered 2 brisket sandwiches to go - now we've got more than plenty food for the road. Almost forgot. - we also ordered 2 pies 1 pecan pie slice DELICIOUS 1 cheesecake slice SUPER DELICIOUS The Ornelas

No bbq like TEXAS bbq! Soft, luscious meats, fall off the bone, ribs, tender green beans with lots of pepper that are not mush, savory brisket, plenty of jalapeños, and onions! Great halfway point between wtx and Austin, I always stop for some Delicious food at Lums!!

Really had high hopes since it kept popping up when searching best bbq on I10 from Fl to NM. Was a let down. Brisket was very dry and bark tasted a little burnt. Staff were great and enjoyed the place, sides were good. Turkey was great. Just disappointed with the brisket
