This is my third time coming here over the past three or so years. I wanted to try their Asian Noodles but there was not a small portion size so I went with the Adobo bowl. After a few minutes, the owner came out to tell me that they were out of rice. When I told her that I originally wanted to try the Asian noodles but needed a small portion. She was kind and let me switch my order. The pasta was Al dente! The sauce was umami with a good amount of heat from red pepper flakes. The vegetables were crispy and not overcooked and the chicken was nicely flavored. The last couple times I was here I ordered different flavors of lumpia. This is not a restaurant to come to for a traditional Philippine food. This place is more of a fusion restaurant, with creative and interesting flavors that they h
Been waiting to try this place. Got the small adobo bowl and the lumpia sampler. Had the classic, Gouda bacon burger and the Philly cheesesteak lumpia. The bowl was absolutely fantastic. The lumpia were good as non classic lumpia. Definitely will be back to try more
Paid $58 to feed four people. After a few bites it all went in the trash. The pancit tasted like old sink water and there was barely any chicken and the chicken you did find was dry and tasteless. The only thing that was semi decent was the classic lumpia. We heard so many good things about this place so maybe we caught them on a bad day?
A very pleasant surprise! The food was phenomenal. The fries were sooooo tasty. My husband loved the dessert. The staff was excellent, and the chef came out to bring some food and greet us. It's a small place but still room to seat people (maybe 30 people or so). There was Christian music playing in the background, which was another pleasant and soothing element. Safe and respectful.
This place has been highly recommended in social media so we had to check it out. They have several flavors of savory and sweet lumpia and also pancit and adobo taco/bowl. We tried the lumpia sampler (classic, buffalo chicken and philly cheesesteak), adobo taco and banana bomb. As a Filipino, I am picky with how my lumpia is cooked. I like the shell cooked all the way through, not just the outside layer. Theirs is crunchy but you can see the inner layer is not crispy. Hubby liked flavor of the Philly and Buffalo, I liked the classic. The adobo taco was overwhelmingly too vinegar-y and a bit salty. Even the cabbage slaw didn't tone down the flavor. The banana bomb is a twist to the classic Filipino dessert turon. The banana they used was a bit too soft for me, I think it's a bit over ripe.
