Lulu's Pie Shoppe

We came from Monterrey, México just from vacation, and wow! What a surprise with these pies! Delicious and tasteful. Not to mention the amazing and charming hospitality from the staff!! Without a doubt my wife and I will be back. God bless

I believe we're all put on this Earth for a reason. One of mine is to find the world's best chicken pot pie. While my search isn't over, Lulu's Pie Shoppe is the current frontrunner. I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, considering the CPP was a gift from my in-laws, but the food was phenomenal. Part of me wishes Lulu's made their CPPs a daily offering, but my arteries are thankful they are an occasional treat. I've also tried several of their sweet pies, which were great, but the CPP moved me to write this review. Long story short, consult your cardiologist and then engorge yourself on a chicken pot pie from Lulu's the next time they are available.

What a charming little pie shop. I got a key lime pie that was delicious! The staff was super friendly and helped us pick out a couple of pies to take home and didn't mind us taking lots of pictures of the pie and the restaurant.

Big taste, bigger heart! In the days following the Central Texas floods, Lulu showed up to help with the flood cleanup, ready to get her hands dirty. She worked alongside people who had been displaced by the flood, and told me several times that any time any of the flood relief volunteers or survivors needed a warm cup of coffee, she would love for them to come by the shop and provide that at no charge. I thanked her for supporting our community, but never personally made it by there, although I did share that with others! Today I went in to drop off a barrel for food collections because of course she jumped at the opportunity to support those struggling in our community in another way. I told her how much I appreciated her, and how sad I was that I couldn’t eat any of the amazing goodies

Stopped by this shop while out strolling the square. Pies slices in showcase looked great and another customer kept raving about how good their pies were. I decided to ask if they had whole pies and the clerk checked and one option available was peach pie which sounded great we bought pie and it rang up $38. I was shocked at the price but decided to purchase all the while thinking “this better be a good pie”. I have to say that it looked great but it was not good or even edible. The peaches in the pie tasted spoiled and the bottom crust was completely soggy and didn’t taste good. The only good thing was the top crust was good.
