LULU Taqueria + Mezcal

Great location by the canal. We not only enjoyed the patio seating, but the service and food was very good. Jenna, our waitress, was friendly with all the guests. She made our experience even better because of her awesome personality! We tried the fried cheesecake with guava and it was delicious!

I went to Lulu tonight with as a group of 3 and made a reservation, it took about 5 minutes to be seated, and the atmosphere was nice. However, we were not given a drink menu to start, it took 15 minutes before our server came to take our order, another 20 minutes until our drinks arrived, and another 20 minutes after the drinks for our food. This didn’t seem to be an issue with our server, as th other tables in th restaurant seemed to be taking just as long. That said. The food was fantastic, well plated, and was a really great price. I had a burrito, some chips for the table, and two margaritas and only spent $40. I would highly recommend Lulu if they increased their service speed.

We ate lunch at Lulu Taqueria and had a delightful time. Bright and airy, we enjoyed non-meat burritos, lemonade and iced coffee. The burritos were served with a side of fresh corn chips, salsa and lime slice. Everything was fresh and tasty. This is your go-to place for good food and nice atmosphere.

I definitely love their chicken sandwich area. It's got tobe one of the best chicken sandwiches around town.

Haven’t been here in a while but last night I was reminded why I need make this a regular stop again. The food was exceptional! Authentic, fresh, and filling. You definitely get what you pay for here… so many places in Rochester are charging high prices that are out of touch but I felt that our dinner for two with a cocktail, app, and dessert was perfectly priced and something like this is hard to find nowadays! I got the carnitas taco and pork belly tacos, I prefer them on flour tortillas. Fiancé got the rice bowl and we shared what was probably the best churros I’ve ever had. Will be back! The house margarita was fresh and perfectly balanced, I got it with mezcal.
