The restaurant is cozy and rustic. The food was really not worth returning for. I got a turkey meal that tasted like thick slices of luncheon meat not from a carved roast. Gravy didn't taste home made. I asked for rice and got some odd green ( rice?) With corn in it. A lot of brocoli. No butter. No seasoning. No salad with meal. Not rolls and butter. $25.??? For that? My friend got 3 tiny burger sliders and fries. She got a soda. The bill was $66.00 I'm speechless. Will never return. The grocery store next door was pretty nice. Our waitress was wonderful. That's all. The place was empty when we left at 9 and I felt rushed to leave. A woman turned the thermostat to 67 in front of me before we left. It was weird.

Just a couple of older silly kids trying out Ludwig's Grille for the first time, and they did not disappoint! From the blue point oysters to the amazing, must try steak burger, add chefs deep rich creamy garlic potato, and a incredible French onion soup. With a few Exellent Bloody Maria's (Marys) made with tequila 😉 Nice Banquet room

Final night in Philly and our turn to shout our family dinner. The recommendation was @ludwigsgrilleoysterbar which for 7 years in a row, has been winner of best seafood restaurant. You can feel the history as you enter with decor of timber and leather furniture. Classy. Very classy. It’s a Monday night and the Lobster and Shrimp Special was back on the menu. 1 1/4lb. Whole Maine lobster plus& 1/2 lb of chilled u-peel shrimp. Served with cocktail sauce and coleslaw and drawn butter all for $39.95. The seven of us however went for something different. Shrimp cocktail. Buffalo wings. Beef sliders. BLT flatbread. Centre cut fillet Mignon. Shrimp and crab salad. Steak Burger. Classic wedge salad. Each meal was of a generous size and nice blend of flavours. In particular, the steak was perfectl

We've lived in the area for almost 4 years, but just now started to come here and love it. The atmosphere of an old stone building, low ceilings in the main house, and ultimately the food bring us back for a quick bite or a special celebration. It's not cheap, but it's goooood. Our new, favorite, the poke tuna tacos are to die for. Crispy, fresh and juicy, served with what seems like excellent home-made potato chips, it's a big enough meal that you might sometimes take home. Especially if you start with a creamy, smooth and very tasty Lobster bisque. My meal was the pork shank and while it wasn't as much food as it looks in the picture (or on the plate), it still satisfied me with cracked pepper flavor, little bit of fatty goodness, and excellent pairing with polenta. And if you have ro

Very pretty rustic restaurant with an upscale feel. Even the bathroom is gorgeous. The oyster bar is walled in white subway tile with a cool mirror on one wall. Friendly, efficient service. The rolls arrived with herb dipping oil and were warm and absolutely delicious. Sadly that was the best part of the meal. I ordered the duck and it arrived pretty well cooked with a nice blackberry sauce, but the garlic mashed potatoes needed more garlic - I couldn't taste it all - and the steamed broccoli was boring and uninspired. My co-worker ordered salmon topped with the chef's choice of some chopped roasted tomatoes I believe and the salmon was dry and totally overcooked. She got the same limp steamed broccoli. Despite the attractive setting, I would skip this restaurant next time.
