Portion sizes are generous. I do like their banh mi’s and vermicelli bowls. The Yuzu is refreshing. This is a small spot, so indoor seating is limited. However, there’s also outdoor seating. Accessibility: there’s one step to enter. Parking: street parking is limited, but can try to find parking on another block nearby.
Trendy Vietnamese restaurant in Bushwick Brooklyn. I ordered the brisket with noodles and I have to say that this was the best brisket I have ever had. It was so flavorful and super tender. I also had the spring rolls as well which were very good.
Dropped by Lucys after a comedy show nearby to grab a late night bite. We came just in the knick of time because they were about to close so we ordered smaller items to make it easier. I heard great things about their vegan pho here but wasn't hungry enough to indulge, so went with a tofu spring roll instead. Pretty good roll with all the usual fixings and a seriously addicting peanut sauce. I wish I had more time to try out their other options but the roll had me hooked. Overall, enjoyed this clean Viet spot and their desire to ensure us vegans had good options to select when dining here.
Ordering from them is a gamble but it’s so good if it works out. I usually order online. Sometimes, the rolls are delicious, other times it’s dry and hard like it’s been left out. The chicken sandwich is usually pretty good. The vegan chicken is usually good. The brisket pho is a major gamble. There were a couple times when I got either mostly fat or mostly the dried out parts. I ordered in person last week and told someone about the meat- he was so sweet and gave me a better cut and said to make a request the next time I order. I just did and the meat came back even drier 😭😭 so idk, I’m still ordering but maybe taking a break from the brisket.
My regular Vietnamese spot was closed so I ordered here via DoorDash. I’d say it was quite tasty 😋 I had the shrimp bun noodle bowl and Vietnamese coffee. The only side note I have is that they split the shrimp in half. I’ve never seen that before anywhere…so it’s not really full shrimps in the pic. I’d order from here again in the future. But still prefer my regular spot.
