Lucky’s Donuts & Ice Cream

This place used to be pretty good. Inflation has caused them to shrink the size of their donuts, but this is true for most donut stores. What makes this place utterly pathetic right now is the amount of jelly or cream that they put in their filled donuts. They claim they've reduced the amount of filling because they charge the same prices for filled as for regular donuts. How does that make any sense? I want to purchase what is advertised. If that cost me a few more pennies then so be it. Make a good consistent product and people will pay for it. Cut corners like this and there's just no excuse. For now I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Hemet donuts is actually really good and pretty close by.

I would even say as far as donuts there better then Dunkin Donuts at least in my opinion they seem to be dry. Found out they double their prices at night. Hello kitty donuts are normally $1.50. At night they charged us $3.00. Lately they’ve not had any jellies or other types of donuts. Very dissatisfied. They used to be the best donut shop.

WEIRDO STAFF! I’m sorry but the customer service is really off here. The staff are laughing at customers and are not the friendliest. I walked in past 9pm as I heard this is a 24/7 donut shop. Wow, was this visit a let down. The donut holes were too chewy and they weren’t fluffy, they seemed smushed. The only high point of this visit was the sour cream donut, I recommend it. However, I probs won’t be returning unless it’s an emergency because customer service and feeling welcomed is a must for me and I don’t get that vibe here. The shop had a good night time stock of donuts and they didn’t look too bad, however the donut hole consistency and flavor was so disappointing it kind of scarred me now.

Families gather here for local donuts and drinks. Family owned and operated. We frequent here often. They also have breakfast sandwiches. I would like to see banh mi sandwiches on the menu during lunch though. One can only hope.
