Lucca's

We stopped in on a whim and they were able to seat us immediately (I would recommend reservations, though). We ordered the Italian Sausage Cavatappi and the sausage and mushroom lasagna and everything from the amuse bouche to the salad to the main to the dessert were nothing short of amazing. I lived in northern Italy for over 6 years and Chef Mike's dishes are better than the food I had while living there. I will do my best to get a reservation here at Luccas every time I know I will come through Helena.

Wow! Reminds me of the show ‘The Bear’ as the entire staff worked together to provide the best food and service! Food was amazing, staff was exceptional and the selection of wines were excellent! The same food and service would be doing Le the price in Portland! Excellent t and highly recommend! I had the Halibut special, White Pinot from Oregon (half price bottle Wed)and the panna cotta for dessert!

Service and food were great! We live in Great Falls, about a hour and half north of Helena. We like to try different places when we are in town and it worked out that we settled on Lucca's this trip. It happened to be Mother's Day, and we did not make a reservation. Me, my husband, and son walked in and Tina the host said she could sit us at the bar and we sure appreciated it. (Now we know to make a reservation next time!). My son was very fond of the bread and butter! I will say for nine years old he is a tough (and sometimes brutally honest) critic. He said "It was the best he's ever had", and our waitress Angie kindly kept it coming to the table. Next we had the salad, very fresh, light and delicious. 10/10 best meal from start to finish we have had in Helena! Appetizers- BAKED FONTINA CHEESE, STUFFED PEPPERS The peppers alone would keep us coming back. The best appetizer by far! Entrees- SEA BASS PICCATA, GORGONZOLA STEAK The orzo side dish was my favorite!! We were so full but took a lemon raspberry cheesecake to go!! We will be back again!! Our server was a delight as well, her recommendations were spot on every time.

Tonight, J.C was my sever for my birthday dinner. He was very attentive and gave quick, considerate service. He truly made this dining experience 10/10, and I highly recommend him as one of the best servers I’ve ever had.
