L&S Laundry Café

I stopped by L&S Laundry Café in South Philadelphia and it’s honestly one of the most unique neighborhood spots I’ve seen. It’s a laundromat and café combined, so you can wash your clothes while relaxing with a drink or dessert. The place is clean, bright, and surprisingly comfortable. While my laundry was running, I grabbed a bubble tea and a smoothie, and it made the whole chore feel a lot more enjoyable. The café menu includes coffee, bubble tea, smoothies, milkshakes, and soft-serve ice cream, which is a fun bonus for a laundromat. The vibe is friendly and very neighborhood-oriented, with people chatting, doing laundry, and hanging out at the café tables. Cool concept but the smoothies were AWFUL!! Ordered avocado smoothie and golden tropical smoothie. So expensive $16 for both and they didn’t use fresh fruit. I don’t even know WHAT they used because powder can’t even taste that bad. Friend and I spat out the first sips and threw it in the trash. Maybe their coffee/espresso is better? Can’t understand it. Please don’t come here for smoothies!!!!

I've been coming here for various cold coffee almost every weekend morning lately. The touchscreens make it easy to order, or customize. They always confirm how much sugar, as I prefer the least amout. If there is no line, the drinks come out quick. I am thankful for the canopy shade on a hot day.

Their Vietnamese iced coffee is a magic elixir, if I have it I'm guaranteed to have a good day.

The service here is always great! Everytime I go whoever is making your order is always nice. I've tried various bubble tea flavors, and they are always good. I also recommend the ice cream and smoothies. The smoothies have the option for sweet, not so sweet, and no sugar!
