Love Bugs Bakery and Donuts

Best donuts in the melbourne area. My picture doesn't really do this place justice. I would by a dozen donuts for a household of 2 and it would be gone within a couple of days. All the premium donut options were worth the money. There's lines from time to time but its worth the wait imo.

We discovered this lovely cafe while on vacation in March and absolutely loved all the variety!! The first time we went, we got a bunch of different donuts and enjoyed them all. We were back in town again in July and made it a point to take our whole group in. We all got different sandwiches and a big assortment of donuts. The bagels, croissants, biscuits, hash browns, and all the donuts were fantastic!! It is good to note that you should go early for the best selection as with any bakery!! They have a large menu and also make customized cakes and cupcakes so they are not just a donut shop. From what I’ve seen, the locals love them and we do, too and will absolutely go back anytime we’re in the area.

Got a Black Forest cake for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it! Ordering was pretty easy and I did it over the phone. The cake along with a 20% tip came out to $66 which is very reasonable. It was the perfect size for us and made our day!

I went spontaneously to Love Bugs this morning to grab some treats for work. What an amazing and friendly atmosphere. The gentleman who took care of me was phenomenal. Smiling and friendly service that will have me coming back again. The donuts not only look great, they taste even better than they look. A white chocolate raspberry muffin caught my eye so I had to try it and it was a 10 out of 10 for sure. If you haven't tried Love Bugs, you are missing out.
