Love Bird

My husband brought some oxtails from Love bird and they were so delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu.

I ate here for the first time today and got the cow foot, yams, and cabbage. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cow foot was so tender and flavorful i couldve kissed the chef lol. Price was very affordable especially given the portion given. The customer service was also excellent. Give them a try, it's definitely worth it.

Food that I ordered was delicious! But I only gave three stars because the guy behind counter seemed as if he didn’t care that I was there. I smiled and said hello and that it was my first time visiting, but he said nothing. He wasn’t horrible, but it could’ve been more pleasant, considering I was giving them my money. I saw a woman there with him. I didn’t personally interact with her, but she appeared to be much friendlier. Anyway, I ordered the callaloo and saltfish, peas and rice, and plantain. It was all very, very good. What the place lacks in customer service, the food makes up for. That’s for sure!

Great food and my go to spot for Jamaican food. I’ve tried other places in houston and have been disappointed, but Love Bird is pretty consistent. I usually get their small oxtail plate which is tender. And their beef patty is so good

Clean establishment, nice amount of food, jerk sauce was a bit much so I’ll try it on the side next time. Chicken had a nice smoke flavor. Nice variety and definitely worth the money. Front of the house staff could be a bit more friendly
