Love Bao Taiwanese Kitchen

Authentic Taiwanese food hidden in a big grocery store. Definitely love the traditional pork bao, mega chicken fillet, and popcorn fried chicken rice. The cabbage in the rice dish is also delicious.

Eaten baos here before that are really good Got the taro fries today, thinking they would be salty, but they were sweet. They were very kind to replace them for me with a clear batch .. They are a bit too thick for me. But will come again for a bao

After moving to Durham, I was looking for an authentic and reasonable Taiwanese restaurant, and this place is what I was looking for! The owner was kind and greeted us well. I really liked chicken pie(지파이) from Taiwan, and the Mega Chicken Fillet was very delicious, and the portion was more than enough! I highly recommend this plate👍! My wife got the Braised Pork Belly plate and the pork belly is very soft and flavorful. Every plate comes with three side dishes, two pickled vegetables, and one boiled egg. Very tasty!

Praise the lawwwwd. I still think about her sometimes. Like yallllll this place is soooo goood. Eating at this place is like scratching an itch that you couldn’t because you is at work. When I found out about the crispy pork belly rice plate, das all I have to say. I lived yall…. The pickle veggies are as good as the protein and this is rare. I kill this everytime I go there. The mince soft pork is as good too, so there’s that. Like might as well with go with the whole. One last thing, she have big portions too for you bigbacks out there. She will be miss when I move😭 ✌️

I’ve ordered takeout from Love Bao a few weeks ago and it was great, this time I ate in at the HMart food court. The Mega Chicken Filet Rice plate with Plum Powder was even more delicious because we were dining in. They consistently have the order ready within 10 minutes. Next time I’d like to try their other dishes.
