You can tell the strength of a place by how it treats it's strangers. This library treats me very well.I am very grateful. First because it is a cool place to come on a very hot day. Second because it has the only printer that a stranger can use in the city. Third, it has the only Internet you can find in the city. So you can come here at three in the morning and even though the building is closed, the Internet is always on and will connect to your computer or phone. This is a wonderful city. And the library is a great service to offer the people of the city. If you don't have a computer you can use theirs. Plus they have all of these wonderful books. Millions of books, and if you don't find what you want they will ship it in it for you from any of the other libraries. Reading is such a re

Neighborhood library. Not a huge selection of books, but you can order books online or at the front desk. There are a good number of movies for adults and children. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can order them as well. The children's section is rather small, but there's rarely a lot of children there at the same time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, there is a picnic area on the side of the library and a playground for children. As well as a water park, but the water park only takes reservations. You can bring your family to the library, then have a picnic afterwards. There are at least five picnic tables under the shade, which makes eating or sitting very comfortable. That's an addition to the library that makes it one of Pahokee's best attractions.

A cute little library with an open feeling despite its small size, offering free wi-fi and computer access. Not a huge selection, but you can request titles from all over the county and be notified when they're ready.
