There are certain experiences in life you really take for granted. I think shopping for the perfect cake is one of those experiences. While preparing for our wedding last year, we met with several bakeries and sampled enough cake to give the average person diabetes. It was until we discovered Louisvillicious Cakes and Desserts, that we felt at home. Melissa (Owner) personally met with us for an appointment and designed the most extravagant, beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen in my life. She spent well over an hour with us going over every little detail about the cake. From colors, to textures, to structural support (it's a big cake - check the photos), to flavors. Melissa & her team were AMAZING!! I had never organized a baby shower before, & when it came to the cake, I was clueless on what to do. They worked with me on the theme, & after giving them pretty much all "creative control", I was absolutely blown away! The creativity, attention to detail, & flavor combinations were beyond my highest expectations! I will DEFINITELY order from Louisvillicious again, & will send everyone I know their way, as well!!

I cannot say enough good things about Louisvillicious! no ordered a custom birthday cake for our son's party from them and it was incredible! They made just the cake he wanted and it not only looked amazing but it also tasted amazing! Even the fondant decor on the icing tasted good (which has not always been my experience with fondant)! When the guests asked where I got the delicious cake, I proudly told them, "Louisvillicious." Many guests said they would check them out for their cakes in the future! The best part? The price was reasonable! For a custom order, I was floored! Thank you, Louisvillicious!!!!

We were having a dessert bar at our wedding, so we didn't need a large cake, just something for ceremonial purposes. We went with Louisvillicious after hearing good things, and we were happy with how our own cake turned out. It was definitely a fair-value price, and they were honest with us about renting a stand/providing our own given the size of our cake. We didn't have too particular of a cake in mind, but they turned our thoughts into something that worked perfectly for us and matched our wedding decor. The only problem that we ran into was that they accidentally gave us the wrong cake when the groom went to pick it up, but upon return, we were given the correct cake. Overall, definitely recommend them!

I could sing praises for days about Melissa and her team! Not only are there so many amazing and unique flavors to choose from at Louisvillicious Cakes and Desserts, but they all taste absolutely delicious. On top of that, Melissa really cares about you and your 'vision' for your cake. My husband and I had a very specific and unique look that we were going for, and most places we had gone to were quick to inform us that they wouldn't be able to do what we had envisioned. Melissa and her team are extremely professional but extremely talented, creative and kind! They went above and beyond, and our cake came out better than we had ever even expected.
