Louis Ristorante & Bar

The entire Cossetta complex is a must visit if you're in Downton St. Paul! But I cannot recommend Louis Ristorante enough! We made a reservation for Valentine's Day. We were sat promptly at our reservation time. The sever was extremely friendly and the restaurant provided us with some free "First Bites" including a delicious relish and something similar to Bruschetta. The pasta we each got was delicious and came out fresh and hot! The icing on the cake was the complimentary rose provided to my Fiancee after we paid. The food is delicious, the staff are great and it's a fine-dining experience at a very reasonable cost. The desserts, either at Louis's or in the bakery below are must haves too!

Outstanding food experience! The food here is always great 👍 and their pastry bar offers a great selection of beautiful and delicious desserts. It's great for dine in or take away. And don't forget to check out the grocery store! Love this place ❣️

Tasty and nice ambience - rooftop bar has a nice view of the weather is nice! Cannot remember the type of wine 🍷 but it was excellent! App was a bruschetta caprese very flavorful nice touch of basil and vinaigrette. The veal 🥩 was cooked to perfection - sliced like butter - and the gnocchi 🥔 was a perfect compliment. Caesar salad 🥗 was bright and bursting with a perfect blend of the fresh Parmesan and dressing. Tiramisu was on point and the lemon 🍋 cookie 🍪 was a creamy, tart but sweet little surprise! Would recommend and will come again when in area!

Food was good. We had a party of 8 with three kids. I took a bit longer than we wanted to receive our food. The kid’s food was hot while my meal (Ravoili) was somewhat warm. Normally we eat at the Eatery and Pizzaria which I would prefer next time if I went with the same dynamics of our party. If you don’t have kids with, this place is great for a date or adult outing. They also have a killer outside area!

After several long days fueled by bar food while attending the IIHF World Juniors, discovering Cossetta Alimentari—and especially its upstairs dining room, Louis Ristorante—was an absolute revelation. This was, without exaggeration, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Our server, Daniel V., was outstanding and recommended a fantastic bottle of wine that perfectly set the tone for the evening. We started with the fig bruschetta, which was beautifully balanced and memorable. For entrées, the lemon chicken was bright, tender, and flawlessly executed, while the butternut squash ravioli was rich, comforting, and elegant without being heavy. Dessert capped things off perfectly: port, espresso, and a refreshing raspberry lemon sorbet that cleansed the palate and left us wanting nothing
