Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Ordered the deep dish Chicago classic online from their website for pickup. Took longer than estimated to be ready, which is fine, but then we receive the pizza pictured in this review. Part of the pizza was only cheese and bread/crust and the parts with sauce and meat were placed sloppily and didn’t taste right. I’ve ordered the same from other locations and have not been served this quality. Will not be returning. Guess it’s time to try Giordano’s.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Phenomenal meal at Lou Malnati’s! The Deep Dish Chicago Classic™ was perfect as always, but the Thin Crust Cheese was the real surprise—so flavorful it doesn't even need toppings. Highly recommend starting with the House Salad (Red Wine Vinaigrette) and the Bruschetta—the fresh basil and Parmesan shavings make a huge difference. Whatever you do, save room for the Chocolate Chip Carol’s Cookies. They are smaller than a Chick-fil-A cookie but way more intense, loaded with huge chocolate chunks and incredible flavor. 10/10 would order again!

I have to give a shout out especially to the young staff working on the evening of February 14, 2026. They were slammed with orders, but every one of them was working extremely hard while displaying patience, politeness, and professionalism. My order was correct, food was well prepared, and I received my order just 5 minutes past the promised time, which is amazing considering how overwhelmed they were. To those kids, I want you to know you did a fantastic job and you should be proud of yourselves.

Average at best but only shopped for frozen pizza from case. Limited variety in store and about $3 more per pizza (and when I am buying six pizzas, that adds up) than online. Don't shop in store if you know what you want, just order online. We live out of state and usually pick up 4-6 pizzas per visit but will stick with online order or get pizza from competitor who also ships next time. When I asked the cashier about options, she seemed disinterested in applying any customer service skills.

Ordered online on a Friday. They were super busy but the time they gave us for the order to be ready was spot on. We didn't have to wait at all. We got a deep dish with sausage and garlic. Was tasty but too much garlic in my opinion. Just know if you order garlic they pack alot on. Regardless the pizza was delicious.
