Lou Lou's Seafood

1st time trying, was looking to go somewhere in Lexington that we hadn't been before. Didn't notice in reviews that it really is primarily a take out place. Has small seating avail, but really close. Food was timely, made fresh, but it wasn't busy. Husband got Shrimp and Grits which includes sausage and he loved it. I got shrimp basket with hushpuppies which were good. Menu states comes with 4 small corn and 2 sides. I did not get corn with my meal. My side was brussel sprouts and fried rice which were ok. We also got cheesy potatoes which had Old Bay and Nacho cheese on them. They were too spicy to eat. I eat Old Bay seasoned stuff all the time, but this was too much for us. So they were not eaten. Overall I recommend if you like really spicy or seasoned food and you want take out. We

Oh my goodness. Definitely best seafood in Lexington. The flavor of the food is phenomenal. I had the blackened fish tacos , the pieces of fish were huge , the sauce was so good . Just the perfect bite. The fried deviled eggs were pretty good but I could go without eating those again. The wings were ok, nothing too spectacular. The seafood is so delicious though, I will be eating these tacos again no doubt. Staff is friendly and hospitable, no complaints ! Great prices and great food ! If I want seafood in lexington I will always chose lou Lou’s !!

This was my first time to Lou Lou's and it will not be my last. The vibe was everything the music playing was so cool. The customer service excellent. Oh yes this is a must if you ever come to Lexington NC you gotta stop here. They have more than just seafood. Wings, salad etc and peaches cobbler but it was sold out. The cotton candy lemonade yes ma'am so good. Yes give them try you will not be disappointed at all.

Food was really good! We got the mini boil, chicken wings, flounder basket/hush puppies and crab macaroni and cheese. Everything was really delicious (just the mac was a bit too salty for our taste but definitely still really good!) Staff was friendly and everything was really clean, including the tables and restroom. We definitely recommend!

Ordered the Big Bubba Fish Sandwich. WOW! It was so delicious! Two big pieces of fish longer than the bun! The Crab & Shrimp Boil was awesome! And the Crab Mac & Cheese... OH MY! We'll definitely be going back!
