Lost Letter is a gem! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and highly professional. They are some of the best in the industry. My husband and I have been several times. Every time I’ve gotten up from the table, my napkin has been neatly folded by the time I’m back. They also wipe the table between courses which is nice. The meals I’ve had at Lost Letter have been some of the best I’ve ever had. The food is always picturesque and so thoughtfully curated. Thank you all for being so friendly and kind and always providing an amazing experience. I recommend your restaurant to everyone. Keep up the good work!
My wife and I went without reservations and ended up at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and made some good suggestions. We ended up getting the octopus appetizer and it was very good. The entrees (rockfish and seafood pasta) were also very good. The drinks were also top notch lol. Nice place.
Lost Letter is such an intimate little gem — it’s been on my radar for a while, and I’m so glad we finally made it there for our anniversary! Everything from the ambiance to the food to the vibes was chef’s kiss. For an appetizer, we started with the bread and olive oil — the focaccia was absolute perfection. Soft, airy, and spongey in the best way. For entrées, I had the Polpo Alla Griglia (grilled octopus) and my husband had the Cavatelli (shrimp in red sauce with parmesan). They say the plates are shareable… but I disagree 😅 It was just the right amount for each of us, and we left perfectly satisfied. Pro tip: MAKE A RESERVATION. Don’t just walk up thinking you’re about to get seated — uhhh no, you will be (very politely) turned away. I warned ya 😂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (100/5 stars
Beautiful atmosphere, the sommelier Sean was wonderful and we enjoyed him sharing his knowledge of wine with us. No need to feel intimidated if you’re not a wine connoisseur he did not judge our peppering of questions one bit. :) The server Grayson was also great and helped us choose dishes we enjoyed while being careful of a gluten allergy in our group. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Food is amazing and I have loved every dish I’ve had here. The appetizers, the mains, everything impressed. They have a great extensive wine list and a sommelier to help you pick. The inside seating is amazing, but the outdoor space has some work to do. Inside feels like fine dining that matches the food. Outside is okay, but it reminds me of early covid years’ make-shift outdoor seating space. There are heaters etc, but the walls, transparent ceiling and especially the dining furniture, feels cheap and temporary.
