Cute little cafe. The service and food were excellent! Our server was awesome. We tried the wedge salad, broccoli cheese soup & the fish tacos. The fish tacos could have used a little more flavor, but everything else was great.
The ambiance, decor, waitstaff and food is amazing. Both breakfast and lunch were yummy and spot on. Very reasonable, good portions, and home cooking. And then you add in the bakery items and desserts, not enough words to describe how good they were. We will be back again and again...... So well worth the 92 miles round trip.
Anachronistically charming place with modern-day prices. They have a limited menu, and don't serve breakfast on Wednesdays and Thursdays. :/
Been wanting to try this place for a while. My family finally made the trip to Fairbury IL to try this place and I can say we were all happily pleased. I love the vintage atmosphere, as the restaurant looks like it was once a bank. My SO had the brisket sandwich and he ended up taking half of it home because it was almost too much for h 😂😂 I really enjoyed my French onion soup. My daughter wanted to take home one of their GIANT cinnamon rolls, and I'm not kidding, the thing is about the size of my head!! Really looking forward to trying it out, and also making another trip in the future! UPDATED 2-11-24: My SO and I stopped here for lunch as we were in the area. This time we had the chicken salad croissant and he had the pot roast beer cheese sandwich. Both were incredibly tasty and wel
Great Breakfast, Farmers Omelet was wonderful and the sausage gravy was possibly the best I’ve ever had
