Los Victor's Mexican Food California Style#4

Stopped by Los Victor’s Mexican Food (California Style #4) while driving toward White Sands National Park because we needed EV charging—and what a lucky stop. The tacos were so good they instantly woke me up and wiped away the road-trip fatigue. Huge fan of their tripa taco—absolutely delicious and worth the detour.

I stayed in this town for one night while driving to the White Sand NP and used KOA camp ground; for food first I tried walking to a restaurant, but too many loose dogs around people’s yards made me nervous. I drove instead, and came to this place (Los Victor's); picked up some food, then returned to my camping spot and enjoyed my simple dinner. Lovely restaurant and staff.

I’ll leave it to everyone’s discretion, but came in Sunday morning for some food and as I was ordering there were roaches walking on the counter. The guy taking our order just casually knocked it off with his hand and stepped on it. Unfortunate that the owner from restaurant like these don’t keep it clean. I’m also leaving a picture of the restaurant because I don’t want them to comment back saying something like “wrong restaurant” or something. Just be careful where you eat people.

Such a cute place! The food was delicious and very affordable, stop by here if you need a rest stop to fuel up on food!

1⭐️ — Absolutely unacceptable experience Last night my husband and I drove 30 miles to this location specifically because it was listed as open until midnight on their website, Google, Yelp, and every platform available. I was having a severe anxiety episode, and the drive itself was meant to help calm things, instead, this turned into an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience. We placed and paid for our order online before arriving to make things easier for everyone. When we pulled in, the OPEN sign was on, the building and parking lot were fully lit, and an employee wearing a headset looked directly at us. We waited at the drive-thru speaker for over 5 minutes with no response. When we slowly pulled forward, the lights were suddenly shut off. The employee exited the building, g
