Excellent doesn’t do this small local family owned restaurant. The mini tacos were simple but flavorful, with perfectly marinated adobado and carnitas. The salsas are fantastic! And the burritos are on point. Family owned and so damn good! The owner came out and told us a little about himself and you can see the pride in his face and it definitely shows in the quality of the food. This was our first time but we’re coming back to try more! Also, the fresh jamaica was so good!!!!

Great place! Authentic food, family ran shop that is super clean and very friendly. Food was bomb! We will be back!

Los Tres Potrillos is a family run business. Literally, the father and mother and son run this small taco shop. I stopped in for breakfast and had a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito I ordered came with ham, eggs, cheese, and house potatoes. It was of good size and very flavorful, It was a little heavy on the potatoes however, but the potatoes were good. The eggs were well seasoned and I loved that they used a white cheese with the burrito. The flour tortilla was of very good quality, too. The service was in good spirits, in good conversation, and friendly. They offer inside seating only and a variety of Mexican eats on their menus. There's a small parking lot in front.

Bomb taco shop and close to home. We have been coming here for 7 years. The name just changed, but the owners are the same family. Wonderful folks… Super burrito top notch, adobada mini tacos, hot Cheetos burrito. Enchiladas, pollo quesadilla… and my whole families favorites are all the breakfast burritos! Best spot in La Mesa.

My family and I have been coming here since 2018 when we moved to the area. We absolutely love them! Their food and service is excellent! Some of my favorites include the number 4 breakfast burrito, the Cali Hot Cheetos Burrito, and their street tacos. Thank you for always doing an amazing job!
