Los Tres Cabrera

I usually come for the gorditas, the sopes and the tacos with tortillas made by hand which is hard to find. I strongly recommend you go with any of those; as they are as authentic as they get in New Jersey. Today I had the consume and torta de carne asada both amazing.

If you love well-made Mexican food with rich flavors, generous portions, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, Los Tres Cabrera is one of those places that truly impresses. It’s not just about eating it’s about enjoying every bite and wanting to return for more.

We were staying around Newark airport area and ended up going to Elizabeth for Mexican food based on high reviews of this restaurant. It was not a disappointment. We went weekday around lunch and had the place all to ourselves. The service was excellent and food was delicious. I ordered the blood sausage. We loved all the hot sauces they offered. None were too spicy but flavorful. Will return again if we come to this area. The toughest part is street parking... Never easy in a big city.

Authentic! I've never heard of Mexican karaoke until I stumbled upon this restaurant. Not only was I thoroughly entertained, I was in awe at how delicious the tacos were. I've never liked Mexican food. This place changed my mind. Literally, the best tacos I've ever tasted, like ever! I've already been twice. Definitely added to my list of favorites. The lamb tacos are my favorite, but the shrimp is a very close second. The homemade lemonade is a just try. Oh, and the service is just as good as the food. The waitress was patient and polite.

well, we were traveling and we decided to stop at this place to try the food and yes indeed, it was all very delicious, my wife ordered a very delicious alambre de pastor,my children ordered tortas carnitas and pastor very delicious everything was really worth for the price, I ordered a 😋 beef consomme and I really liked it it was excellent... I highly recommend it to . The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere feels very familiar... I will definitely return another time...
